Job description

We are seeking a Professional Engineer, Civil - Transportation

with 5-10 years of experience in airfield / airport, transportation, municipal, and/or site development projects. Aviation experience is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate is passionate about tackling diverse projects in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Hybrid: Tuesday - Thursday In-Office | Monday & Friday WFH

Responsibilities

1. Support design and planning for complex site development and airfield projects.
2. Manage projects from conceptual design through construction.
3. Contribute to rehabilitation and construction of runways, taxiways, aprons, utilities, roadways, NAVAIDS, fueling facilities, and security.
4. Collaborate with engineers, designers, technicians, and planners to serve airports nationwide.
5. Develop proposals, technical reports, participate in meetings, and deliver presentations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain within six months.
• 5-10 years of relevant design experience, including roadways, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Interest or experience in leading project teams and managing scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Proficiency in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Flexibility for travel (10-20%), including occasional overnight stays.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience with ArcGIS.
• Design experience with airport infrastructure.
• Proposal and contract documentation experience.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations.

Additional Information

The salary range reflects base pay for 5-10 years of experience. Compensation varies based on qualifications and responsibilities.
