Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Title: Design Engineer - Professional Engineer - P.E. (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical)

Location: 100% Remote - Austin, TX (HQ)

Base Salary: $90k-$120k DOE

Requirements: BS in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, (PE) Professional Engineer licensed in TX, 3 + years experience in Civil Structural Design, Project Management, AutoCAD

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Design Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and leading project management efforts in various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural engineering solutions for various projects.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Conduct site layout planning and structural analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation and design calculations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable design codes and standards.
• Perform load calculations and risk assessments for structural integrity.
• Review and approve design drafts and specifications.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
• Assist in cost estimation and budgeting for projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of AISC standards and building codes.
• Experience with concrete and steel design.
• Familiarity with seismic design and foundation design principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Not Required But Preferred

• Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and site development is a plus.
