This is a full‑time, 40-hour hybrid position reporting to the Real Estate and Construction Services division.

Key qualifications:

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license from Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection
• Eight years of experience as a project engineer with full responsibility for engineering design of major building projects
• Considerable knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and building construction methods
• Strong ability to analyze and review engineering reports, plans, and specifications
• Experience with mechanical and plumbing systems for commercial and institutional buildings
