  • Conduct detailed site inspections, take measurements, and perform forensic evaluations to assess existing conditions and diagnose failures.
  • Develop and review design drawings, construction documents, technical specifications, and contractor submittals.
  • Respond to RFIs, evaluate contractor applications, and assist during the construction phase.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams across disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.

Client & Team Coordination

  • Serve as a key point of contact for property owners, contractors, and consultants.
  • Participate in meetings, presentations, and site visits, communicating findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members when applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with residential, multi-family, or low-rise commercial building projects.
  • Strong background in existing building renovation, rehabilitation, or forensic assessment.
  • Experience with retail, recreational, or community-use structures such as playgrounds or parks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or related design software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
