Job summary

Off-Leash K9 Training LLC is seeking a trainer for our Columbus location. This position involves delivering private lessons, conducting two-week board and train programs, and editing video content for board and train dogs.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs, excellent interpersonal skills, and must be willing to attend certification training at our headquarters in Northern Virginia. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $50,000 – $60,000 per year.

• Conduct 2‑week board and train programs.
• Edit video content for board and train dogs.
• Communicate with clients via calls and emails.

Qualifications

• Motivated and outgoing personality.
• Passion for working with dogs and a strong, self‑motivated work ethic.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (teach lessons, take calls, etc.).
• Ability to keep up to two board and train dogs in the home within a 5‑x‑10‑foot area that is indoors and climate controlled.
• Willingness to attend 17 days of certification training at our headquarters in Northern Virginia (no cost).
