We are part of the fastest growing dog training company in the country - Off Leash K9 Training, LLC. We are seeking to add one more trainer in the Charlotte area.

This is a demanding and challenging profession. We need someone highly driven to establish professional relationships and succeed.

*Minimum job requirements:

• Must reside in or around Huntersville, North Carolina.
• Must be able to board at least 2 dogs at your residence for 14 days.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Smartphone required.
• Knowledge of Social Media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
• Complete a 21-day certification at OLK9 Training Facility in Northern Virginia.

*Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Handling and training dogs of various sizes and ages.
• Working with dogs needing behavior modification, including anxiety and aggression.
• Interacting professionally with the public.
• Driving to appointments in the Charlotte area.
• Continuing education in dog and human training skills.
• Attending PR events.
• Being self-motivated!

The ideal Dog Trainer candidate:

Computer skills for creating dog training videos are a plus. Ability to work during peak traffic times on weekdays and weekends is essential. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
