Cooley LLP is seeking a Professional Development Events and Operations Coordinator to join the Professional Development team in Chicago. The role focuses on planning and executing PD Academies and firmwide learning initiatives.

Key duties include managing the PD calendar, coordinating event logistics, registrations, and onsite support. The position emphasizes process improvements, budget tracking, and collaboration across Marketing, Creative and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and iManage; adaptable with firm applications.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• 2+ years in admin, project coordination or events coordination; strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the firmwide PD calendar and update schedules.
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for PD events and initiatives.
• Manage registrations, attendance and rooming lists.
• Provide onsite event support and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative and Tech for communications and tech needs.
• Develop and maintain templates for PD events and academies.
