Job summary

thread is seeking a Professional Development Associate to provide administrative support for the statewide Professional Development team. You will manage registrations, communicate services to customers, support educators and trainers, and handle data entry and reporting.

You will assist with payments to programs, generate reports for grants, and maintain calendars on Quip and SharePoint. Travel coordination and documentation management are also part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in business, communication, administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in an administrative position.
  • Experience with database coordination and reporting is desirable.
  • References and valid identification required.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for thread's statewide Professional Development team.
  • Communicate information about thread Professional Development services to customers.
  • Support child care programs, early educators, and contract trainers.
  • Manage training registrations, evaluations and follow-up, including data entry and reporting.
  • Produce and disseminate training materials.
  • Assist with word processing, data entry, and payments to programs and educators.
  • Collect, analyze and report data for grants and identified initiatives.
  • Manage Professional Development training calendar information and CCR&R data.
  • Assist in collecting and reporting professional development trends using SEED Registry and CCR&R data.
  • Support statewide teams by coordinating meetings, notes, documentation, travel, and calendar.
  • Coordinate and maintain the Professional Development page on Quip and SharePoint; manage multiple platforms.
  • Conduct assessments in early childhood programs using TPOTS and TIPITOS.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Specific Responsibilities:
  1. The Professional Development Associate provides administrative support for thread's statewide Professional Development team at thread.
  2. Accurately communicate information about thread Professional Development services to customers.
  3. Provide support to child care programs, early educators, and contract trainers as
  4. Manage thread's training registrations, evaluations and follow This includes data entry, communicating with attendees, and reporting.
  5. Produce and disseminate training
  6. Assist the Professional Development team with word processing, data entry, and payments to early childhood programs and educators.
  7. Assist in collecting, analyzing and reporting data for grants and other identified
  8. Manage Professional Development training calendar information and data on the statewide CCR&R
  9. Assist Professional Development Managers/Directors in collecting, analyzing, and reporting professional development trends using statewide SEED Registry and CCR&R training data and thread's
  10. Support statewide teams by managing logistics including scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, managing documentation, booking travel, maintaining the main Professional Development calendar, and reconciling travel budget.
  11. Coordinate and maintain the Professional Development page and documents on Quip and SharePoint. Manage multiple online platforms for the Professional Development team.
  12. Conduct assessments in early childhood programs using tools such as TPOTS and TIPITOS.
  13. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Associate degree in business, communication, administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  2. Previous experience in an administrative position.
  3. Previous experience with database coordination and reporting desired.
  4. References and valid identification required.
  5. Bilingual is a plus; Spanish language is preferred.
  6. Must pass a background check.

Schedule and Compensation:

Position Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time

Classification: Non-Exempt

Supervisor: Professional Development Manager

Supervises: None

Compensation: $23.50 - $25.00/hour
