Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a route-handler responsible for courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages along an assigned route. You will ensure shipments conform to service standards, maintain a neat appearance, and provide related customer service functions.

Responsibilities include safe and accurate delivery and pick-up, equipment and vehicle security, reporting stop counts and mis-sorts, and using tracking systems to input correct information.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education completed (high school diploma or equivalent).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• One year of customer-facing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pick‑up and delivery on an assigned route.
• Ensure shipments conform to service features and maintain proper labeling and paperwork.
• Operate tracking and dispatch systems and report stop counts and mis-sorts.
• Answer customer questions and inform them about services and requirements.
• Operate vehicle safely, load/unload as workload dictates, and ensure security of property.
