Job summary

LDH-Florida Parishes Human Services Authority is seeking a Professional Counselor 5 for the Bogalusa Behavioral Health Clinic in Bogalusa, LA. The successful candidate will provide clinical supervision, supervise staff, and deliver individual and group therapy within a trauma-informed care framework.

The position requires current Louisiana LPC or LMFT licensure with 3+ years of licensed counseling experience and the ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• May serve as a back-up to the Clinic Manager as needed.May oversee and maintain daily clinical reporting processes as requested.

Position-Specific Details

Appointment Type: Probational Appointment or Promotional

Compensation: Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant’s level of experience. The pay range for the position is:

• Professional Counselor 5 : $24.57/hour minimum - $44.28/hour maximum

Note regarding the advertised pay range: The maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title and not the maximum amount usually offered to new hires.
