Job summary

The Central Louisiana Human Services District (CLHSD) is seeking a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor or Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with two years of licensed counseling experience for assignments at the Caring Choices Clinic in Leesville. The role focuses on group counseling for substance use disorders, treatment planning, and caseload management.

Appointment is Probational. Location is Leesville; COA progression to higher levels may apply.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT) plus two years of licensed counseling experience.

Position-Specific Details

Appointment Type: Probational Appointment.

Location: This vacancy is located at the Central Louisiana Human Services District. This announcement serves to fill vacancies in our Caring Choices Clinic in Leesville.

Compensation

• Professional Counselor 3 - $21.46 hourly; $1,716.80 bi-weekly.
• Professional Counselor 4 - $22.96 hourly; $1,836.80 bi-weekly.
• Eligible for premium pay of one dollar ($2.00) per hour for hours worked.
• Note regarding the advertised pay range: The advertised maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title/level over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.
