We're looking for a Professional Counselor 3 or 4 to serve the full range of clinical services. This position will be crucial in participating in the decision-making process of the treatment team, including formulating therapeutic activities. Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT) plus two years of licensed counseling experience.

Location: This vacancy is located at the Central Louisiana Human Services District. This announcement serves to fill vacancies in our Caring Choices Clinic in Leesville.

Compensation: This position offers the following starting rates for each level:

• Professional Counselor 3 - $21.46/hourly; $1,716.80/bi-weekly.


• Professional Counselor 4 - $22.96/hourly; $1,836.80/bi-weekly


• Eligible for premium pay of one dollar ($2.00) per hour for hours worked.

Note regarding the advertised pay range: The advertised maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title/level over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire.
