Branding Specialist, Learning Center - Part-Time

We are seeking talented Resume Writers and proficient LinkedIn users to provide career coaching and support to candidates. Your role will be to help candidates enhance their strengths, improve job skills, and develop their personal brand while working with professionals seeking career development guidance.

Our Professional Branding Specialists must demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm in supporting candidates through transitions, often working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You should be able to identify people's strengths and weaknesses and offer tailored suggestions suited for today's dynamic marketplace. Strong communication and critical-thinking skills are essential.

This is an associate, variable hours (hourly) position. Location is remote, based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop effective and timely resumes and LinkedIn profiles for candidates
  2. Communicate directly with candidates to understand their goals and ambitions
  3. Assess candidates' strengths and collaborate to showcase their talents effectively
  4. Edit documents in real-time during candidate interactions
  5. Evaluate candidates' knowledge base and apply relevant skills and experience to collateral materials
  6. Utilize various resume formats tailored to each candidate's situation
  7. Provide well-documented updates to internal systems
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in resume writing or related professional experience; certifications are a plus
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Experience with web-based conferencing tools (Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, Skype, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and grammatical skills
  • Knowledge of various resume formats
  • Understanding of multiple job industries and functions at all levels
  • Strong communication, decision-making, critical thinking, and marketing skills
  • 4-year degree or relevant work experience in Human Resources or Career Transition Management
