Everforth Apex seeks an experienced AI Architect to lead modernization and cloud transformation in Houston. You will design scalable Azure solutions, migrate on-premises apps, and drive AI-enabled capabilities including Azure OpenAI and GenAI copilots.

You will establish governance, security, and operational standards while delivering enterprise integration using API Management and Event Hubs. This role requires leadership in large-scale modernization initiatives.

Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Architect to lead application modernization, cloud transformation, and the implementation of AI-driven solutions. This role involves designing and implementing scalable solutions using Azure PaaS services, migrating on-premises applications to Microsoft Azure, and transforming monolithic applications into microservices. The ideal candidate will establish architectural standards and best practices for governance, security, and operations.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and enterprise application delivery.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Azure or Google cloud architecture experience.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing AI/Generative AI solutions.
• Proven success leading large‑scale application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience delivering customer‑facing digital platforms and enterprise integration solutions.

Technical Skills

• Azure and GCP Cloud Platforms.
• Azure PaaS services, Gemini Enterprise for CX, Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, API Management, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep.
