Job summary

Little Folks Daycare in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a passionate Lead PreK Teacher to join our caring team. You will plan and implement a play-based PreK curriculum, create a safe and inclusive classroom, and monitor each child’s development.

The ideal candidate has a background in early childhood education with 1–2 years in a licensed setting, strong communication skills, and a warm, patient demeanor to support families and young learners.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Pass background check per Minnesota childcare licensing requirements
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children
