Pockets Full of Posies is seeking an energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team in Portland, Oregon. You will work with a class of students throughout the school year, assess and support their development, and design instruction to meet collective and individual needs.

You will foster a love of learning with creativity and strong problem-solving skills, engaging with each student to create an active and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Meets Oregon state Early Childhood Education requirement.
• Strong understanding of child development and classroom management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to adhere to them.
• Problem-solving and mediation skills.
• Passion for teaching and expanding knowledge of child development.
