LITTLE VILLAGE COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL is seeking an energetic Preschool Teacher to lead a class of 2.5 to 3-year-olds, assess their current level, and design instruction to meet their needs throughout the school year.

You will create engaging lessons, support early literacy and math, and foster social-emotional development while collaborating with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• CDA, bachelor's degree and state teaching certification.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines.
• Problem-solving and mediation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum.
• Teach beginning reading and math skills.
