Tutu School Boulder is seeking a part-time Ballet Instructor to nurture young dancers in a welcoming, arts-centered setting in Boulder. The role involves teaching 45-minute ballet classes for ages 6 months to 8 years, guiding caregivers, and supporting studio events and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Teach joyful, engaging 45-minute ballet classes for children ages 6 months to 8 years.
• Lead classes of up to 8 children, including caregiver-supported classes for children under age 3.
• Deliver lessons using thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate curriculum, music, and studio props.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and encouraging classroom environment.
• Provide individualized encouragement, guidance, and positive feedback to students.
• Build positive relationships with families and communicate progress, studio policies, and promotions.
• Assist with studio events, including birthday parties, day camps, and recital/performance support as needed.
• Support front-of-house and retail operations, including processing sales, tracking inventory, and restocking merchandise.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the studio, including the dance space, lobby, and other areas.
• Represent the Tutu School brand with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and support studio growth in the Boulder community.

Tutu School Boulder is a boutique ballet studio opening in Boulder in June 2026. At Tutu School, children ages 6 months to 8 years explore ballet-inspired movement, classical music, and storytelling in a nurturing, whimsical environment designed to spark creativity, confidence, and joy. Tutu School strives to honor its role in sharing the beauty and wonder of ballet with every child it serves.
