Production Associate Lead-IPACK (Night-Shift)

Job Summary

This production position involves working in a poultry processing environment, handling live poultry, raw, and packaged products. The role typically requires working five to six days a week, with potential overtime based on production needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee work at various stations along the poultry processing lines.
  2. Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE, unsafe act reporting, Lockout-Tagout, and Process Safety Management.
  3. Ensure product quality meets QA and USDA standards.
  4. Maintain smooth operation of all equipment in the department.
  5. Keep the work environment clean and safe.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a production setting is preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Work in wet, moist, and potentially cold environments (28°F to 100°F).
  • Handle products at 25°F to 50°F.
  • Expose to noise levels of 50-110 dB, dust, feathers, and chemicals.
  • Wear protective equipment as required.
  • Occasional exposure to vapors (CO2, chlorine).
  • Stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; reach, bend, push.
