Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Products Liability Litigation Attorney in San Diego for a permanent, on-site role. You will handle a broad spectrum of product liability matters, including multidistrict litigation and multi-jurisdictional cases, while joining a nationally recognized practice.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of relevant experience, is admitted to CA, CO, WA, and NY bars, and demonstrates strong negotiation, research, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Be a member in good standing with the CA, CO, WA, and NY Bars.
• 2–5 years of experience in products liability litigation.
• Experience with multidistrict litigation, multi-jurisdictional cases, and coordinated state proceedings.
• Extensive experience in toxic tort cases, depositions, legal research, and class actions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Outstanding litigation skills, with the ability to manage large case loads and balance priorities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence for lawsuits, ensuring all case-related information is correctly interpreted.
• Manage multidistrict and multi-jurisdictional litigation, coordinated state proceedings, and class actions.
• Handle a wide range of product liability cases, including toxic torts.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
• Guide and advise clients in taking appropriate legal action.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
