Job description

* Work Schedule - Monday- Friday* Comprehensive Family Benefits: Air Liquide offers a full benefits package designed to support your whole life, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance.* Support for Parents: We offer a 14-week paid child birth benefit to support growing families.* Future Security: 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match, Tuition Assistance, Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick time.* Early Access: Your benefits start after day 30* Supports and complies with all safety, health, and environmental procedures directed by local and corporate personnel and safety departments.* Supports and complies with all process safety management and risk management plan practices.* Supports operation permit reporting and monitoring requirements, in compliance with federal, state and local rules and regulations.* Supports all personnel policies directed by local and corporate personnel.* Define, design, specify, control costs and implement projects generated by a technical problem or unique plant requirement to improve safety, reliability, or efficiency.* Designs plant processes consisting of instruments, controls, engines, machines, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems, utilizing and applying knowledge of engineering principles.* Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.* Develops economic cost justification for capital improvements.* Makes a report of plant engineering activities to the Plant Manager.* Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technological changes and development in industry.* May perform special tasks as requested by Plant Manager and Corporate officials.* Solution-oriented, with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills* Ability to gain technical knowledge in operation and maintenance of Air Separation, CO[2], VSA and Onsite N2/O2 Plants.* Good verbal and written communication skills* Ability to work with all levels of personnel* Ability to perform under stress and time constraints* Comfortable in both Corporate and Field environments* Problem solving ability necessary to define, design, specify, control costs and implement projects generated by a technical problem or unique customer or field production requirement.* Demonstrates personal integrity and transparency.* Demonstrates ability to make sound judgment, timely decisions, manage multiple tasks and prioritize/delegate work effectively.* Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders; fluent in English - both written and spoken.* Ability to write routine business reports and business correspondence* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and/or customers.* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals using the English language.Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products; one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products; and a leading U.S. supplier of ammonia products and process chemicals.
