Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Description

Job Type: Full Time

Shift Schedule: M-F, 6a - 2:30p

Salary: $19.00/hour

Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and operate various packaging equipment
• Work near machines that compress wood by-products from mill operations or similar processes
• Open compression chamber doors, facilitate placement of bags, and remove bales from packaging equipment
• Record bale weights and maintain activity logs as per company standards
• Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment
• Learn and perform standard setups, adjustments, and routine maintenance of packaging equipment
• Obtain forklift certification to perform forklift duties as required
• Troubleshoot and solve equipment problems

Qualifications/Education:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing and production line experience preferred
• Good eye, hand, and foot coordination
• Ability to concentrate and multi-task for extended periods
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for at least 7 hours daily
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Basic math skills
