Job summary

Championhomes in Strattanville, PA is seeking a Rough Plumber to join our manufacturing team. Under general supervision, you will work on the production line to build manufactured housing while ensuring quality work at a rapid pace.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. We offer competitive benefits including a 401k plan with company match and paid vacation.

Summary

Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast‑moving and consistent manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent OR at least six months of related experience/training
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned
• Keeps area neat and clean
• Reads and uses a tape measure
• Reads blueprints and orders
• Communicates well with coworkers
• Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
• Other duties may be assigned.

Work Schedule

The typical schedule for this position is 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Schedule may vary depending on production needs and overtime, though kept to a minimum, occasional scheduling changes may be required.

Education and/or Experience

One‑year certificate from college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
