Howmet Dover Casting is a supplier of complex, investment-cast turbine airfoils and other components for the aircraft engine and industrial gas turbine industries. Howmet Dover Alloy supplies vacuum and air-melted nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys to aerospace, gas turbine, medical, and other high-technology industrial markets.

We are currently looking for a Rough Utility Worker to join our Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The Weekend Night Shift hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6 pm - 6 am. Training will occur on Day Shift (Monday - Friday 6 am - 2 pm) and may last several months.

Starting hourly rate for new hires: $24.79. After 12 months: $27.35. This position includes an hourly shift premium while on off-shift.

Position Overview

The Utility Worker supports the department by performing various hourly jobs (excluding non-fixtured cutting).

Environmental, Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing EHS policies and values.
• Comply with all EHS regulations.
• Wear all required PPE.
• Report illnesses and injuries.
• Report safety concerns.
• Attend EHS training.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate saws, water jet machines, and other non-hand cut equipment.
• Perform alloy verification and maintain traceability.
• Perform cleaning and finishing processes on castings.
• Maintain proper identification and records of castings.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety rules.
