Production Worker (Rough Clean Utility Worker - 3rd Shift)

Join us at Howmet Aerospace as a Production Worker (Rough Clean Utility Worker - 3rd Shift).

We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform various hourly tasks supporting our department, specifically in the Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The position involves working the Midnight Shift, from Sunday night to Thursday night, 10 PM to 6 AM. Training will be provided on the Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM, which may last several months.

Starting hourly rate is $24.79, with a raise to $27.35 after 12 months. An hourly shift premium applies when working off-shift.

Responsibilities

• Utilize equipment such as Kalamazoo saw, wet saw, AW Bell, pull down saw, and water jet machines.
• Perform alloy verification and MP identity marking on castings.
• Maintain proper identification and records of castings throughout all operations.
• Conduct cleaning processes including K/O, KOH soak, water honing, and sandblasting.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, following all safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass visual eye exam and alloy verification certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.
• Reside within 50 miles of Dover, NJ.

Physical Demands

• Use of alloy verification equipment, computers, and manufacturing tools.
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Work in varied environmental conditions.
