Job summary

PFG Manufacturing is seeking a Production Bagging Worker to prepare and package products, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. You will work as part of a team, performing duties to support packaging operations and on-time distribution.

Responsibilities include operating the packaging line, moving materials with forklifts and pallet jacks, inspecting and documenting shipments, and maintaining compliance with company policies and traceability requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line and other plant duties as assigned.
• Operate forklift, slipsheet machines, and pallet jacks to move product and load trucks/containers accordingly.
• Unload incoming material and document accordingly.
• Follow shipping schedules to ensure on time packaging and shipping.
• Gather, inspect, and complete paperwork required for shipping and traceability.
• Follow policies and procedures for packaging of products.
• Document to comply with company guidelines, including traceability of finished products.
• Monitor CCP and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Perform food safety and quality inspections on finished product.
• Collect retention samples from customer orders.
• Report any food safety, quality, and occupational concerns to management.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, and BRC/FDA policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Operations Manager and management.

Position Summary:

The Production Bagging Worker is responsible for preparing and processing packaging of products. Responsible for following all safety and quality standards required as required by Company Policy. The position functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:

• Follow all policies and procedures required by Preferred Popcorn that involve the packaging of products
• Complete appropriate documentation in order to comply with company guidelines, not limited to packaging and finished product traceability
• Monitor CCP completing appropriate paperwork
• Perform food safety and quality inspections on finished product
• Collect retention samples from customer orders
• Report any food safety, quality, and occupational concerns to management immediately
• Follow all policies and procedures on safety, cleanliness, and BRC/FDA
• Other duties as assigned by the Plant Operations Manager and management
