Production Worker (Paper Mill / Rotating Shifts)

PABCO Paper, a division of PABCO Building Products LLC, has provided quality paper products and services for over 25 years. PABCO Paper produces paper products from recycled content for gypsum board paper covering, bakery boxes, and more.

Your role as a Production Worker involves helping to manage and operate our machines to manufacture the finished product at our Vernon location, where we produce Paper Products.

Work Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts - Days, nights, and weekends
• 7-day break every month
• Starting pay at $23.55/hour for candidates with no previous manufacturing experience

Pay Rate

• Starting pay: $23.55/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Operate forklift transporting rolls of paper or bales of recovered fiber
• Operate machinery on the production line to produce quality paper products
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
• Keep work area safe, efficient, and clean according to plant standards
• Assist during equipment failures and special projects
• Participate in general housekeeping duties
• Assist with down days and startup procedures
• Attend safety meetings and follow safety rules set by the company and regulatory agencies
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliability, initiative, and a commitment to success
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
• Excellent attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience
• Forklift certification or experience
