Jack Link's Protein Snacks is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (Fri-Sat, 5am–5pm) to support production lines in Perry, GA. The role involves moving product, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

The basic function of a Material Handler is to supplyproductto the production linesin order tokeep the lines running ina timelyandaccuratemanner.
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Friday - Saturday; 5am - 5pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Essential Job Functions)
Responsible for moving product to and from the production linesin order tokeep the machines running.
Responsible for processing within product specifications.
Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move items
Follow all safety procedures and regulations
Adheres to all Food Safety Quality requirements
Maintainaccuraterecords of productmovement
Responsible for all job rotation tasks such as placing empty containerson line,observingfilling process, repackaging boxes, stacking product on pallets, etc. inan accurateandtimelymanner.
Maintains a safe and clean work area.
Readily accepts, and adapts quickly, to any task/productionlinereassignment and works closely and cooperates with any reassigned team leader and team members toaccomplishproduction requirements.
Cooperates and communicates well with co-workers andstrives at all timesto promote teamwork, build teamspiritand heighten morale.
Demonstrates a positive attitude and consideration towards fellow employees.
Participates actively in any training program that is made available by the company.
Recognizes and performs duties which need to be performed although not directly assigned.
Performs work duties and responsibilitiesin accordance withGood Manufacturing Practices.(i.e.: wears hairnet/beardnet, andcleanclothesat all times, washes hands when returning to work area, does not wear jewelry, does not have objects in mouth (gum, candy, tobacco) while working, does not bring food into plant except in break room, etc.)
Completes paperwork and documentation inan accurate,neatandtimelymanner. (ie: production tickets, downtime reports, etc.)
Isknowledgeable of all company rules, regulations, policies and procedures andcomplies with them at all times.Followsall departmental Standard Operating Procedures andreviewsthem regularly.
Performs other duties and assumesadditionalresponsibilitiesas necessary.

The starting rate for this role is $16.96 - $23.32 (Hourly).Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards. While performing the duties of this job the Team Member will be required to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (i.ebeard/hairnet, ear plugs, frock, boots,etc), stand for extended periods of time, and use hands/arms to push, pull, reach and occasionally lift above head. The Team Member must occasionally lift, push, pull up to 25poundsand 50 pounds infrequently. Team Members are requested to visually inspect equipment and/or product.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
