Production Worker, Nights - Farm Plant/IQF - JR726-6955

This position involves working Monday to Thursday from 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM, Friday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, and Saturdays as needed. The schedule may change based on business needs.

Job Overview: The Production Worker performs tasks to support food production, including drying, freezing, processing, sifting, grinding, boxing, and packaging. Responsibilities include disassembling, assembling, sanitizing, transporting, loading, unloading, and setting up materials, supplies, and equipment, as well as assisting in machine operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work functions independently or as part of a team following instructions.
  • Support and communicate professionally with peers.
  • Report safety, quality, operational, or HR concerns promptly and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain punctuality and dependability with excellent attendance.
  • Follow management instructions, make decisions, and complete tasks timely.
  • Assist in training new staff and support peer development.
  • Operate equipment safely and assist with setup and changeovers.
  • Follow GMPs and SOPs, including wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Identify and report product quality issues and perform CCP checks.
  • Adhere to safety standards and participate in training.
  • Understand and participate in LOTO procedures.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment regularly and according to schedule.
  • Lead safety activities and participate in team meetings.
  • Work overtime as required to meet production goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills: No prior experience required; 3-6 months preferred. Forklift experience and certification may be a plus. Basic reading, writing, and computer skills are preferred, including ERP scanner use. Ability to perform basic math and inventory tracking is necessary.

Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

Additional Details: Entry level, full-time position in the Food and Beverage Manufacturing industry. Education and certifications will be provided as needed.
