Responsibilities

  • Operate woodworking equipment to meet neck mill specs.
  • Manage materials in the conditioning room and monitor wood moisture.
  • Perform glue-up operations for fretboards and necks.
  • Plane wood to precise thickness and measurements.
  • Drill jack holes and install paint handles as part of body prep.
  • Move wood materials between workstations using carts or by hand.
  • Inspect thickness and fit according to manufacturing standards.
  • Perform quality checks on parts to ensure defect-free production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are currently searching for an exceptional Production Worker - Neck Mill to join our team. The Production Worker will operate woodworking machinery to shape and prepare wooden components used in guitar necks. This includes handling raw materials, using hand tools, and supporting multiple production stages. This position plays a key role in ensuring quality and consistency in Fender's iconic instruments.


Essential Functions:


  • Operate woodworking equipment such as planers, sanders, and saws to meet neck mill specifications

  • Manage materials in the conditioning room and monitor wood moisture content

  • Perform glue-up operations for fretboards and necks

  • Plane wood to precise thickness and measurements

  • Drill jack holes and install paint handles as part of body prep

  • Move wood materials between workstations using carts or by hand

  • Inspect and measure thickness and fit according to manufacturing standards

  • Perform quality checks on parts to ensure defect-free production

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines

  • Perform additional duties as assigned
