Job summary

Terex is seeking a Metal Prep operator to fabricate components under direct supervision, following safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

You will set up metalworking machines (drill presses, brakes, shears), read drawings, perform quality checks, prepare production reports, and keep a clean, organized workspace using 5S and lean methods.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Able to learn to read a tape measure and read blueprints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 0-2 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Overview

This position works under direct supervision while fabricating components in the Metal Prep department. Following instruction is key in performing all responsibilities. The team member will be required to follow and meet safety and quality standards while maintaining production.

Responsibilities
