Job summary

Cartamundi is seeking a Production Worker (2nd Shift) in Erlanger, KY to operate stripping and punch press equipment, inspect and troubleshoot, and support daily manufacturing targets on a climate-controlled, on-site facility.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a strong attention to detail. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and more. Shift is Monday–Friday evenings.

Production Worker (Manufacturing) - 2nd Shift

Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly

The 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday 2:45 pm to 10:45 pm.

The Technician Combo will be responsible for operating the stripping and punch press equipment, performs product inspections, identifies quality defects, completes basic machine troubleshooting, and supports production, safety, and 5S standards to ensure daily manufacturing targets are met.

What you’ll do as a Technician Combo:

• Review with lead person work to be performed
• Review the work orders to determine materials required for the daily production
• Comply with production documentation and standard operating procedures
• Load, operate and perform basic trouble shooting and maintenance on stripper machines.
• Transfer stripped sheets to transfer cart and perform face and back inspection on strips per procedure.
• Load, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on punch machines with strips in proper sequence.
• Perform deck inspection per written procedures. Identify and notify lead operator and/or supervisor of defects. Requires recording the defects in writing.
• Ensure that all component materials such as hanging tabs, tear tabs, tuck cases, cellophane and cartons are in adequate supply, loaded properly, and correct for each work order
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, making sure that materials and equipment are in their correct place, that trash is cleared away, and that 5S standards are met
• Understand various quality levels and audit accordingly as different products are produced
• Reject product that does meet qualifications and place in scrap container
• Coordinate the containment of defective product with team members
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.
