The Seattle Times is seeking a Production Worker to join the Packaging and Assembly team. The role involves collating newspaper bundles and managing quality assurance to meet publication standards. The Seattle Times, the Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper, is looking for a reliable Production Worker to join our Packaging and Assembly team. Often called an Associate Mailer or "Mailer," this role prepares our print product before delivery. You will be responsible for collating newspaper bundles and handling inserts, organizing the bulk print product in mechanical insert machines for daily publication. Quality assurance is a priority to ensure our final product meets standards for our customers.
Schedule: Flexible work hours depending on project and scheduling needs. The average hours are 32 per week.
Compensation: The salary range is $20.15 to $25.40 per hour. New hires typically start at $20.15 per hour.
