Job description

Production Worker, Junior – First Shift | $18/hr

Summary:
The Junior Production Worker supports the machine shop by loading, unloading, deburring, bending, and handling materials. This role requires consistent, accurate, and efficient work while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and hand tools (grinders, polishers, etc.)

  • Read and follow instructions, prints, and engineering documents

  • Measure and inspect parts to meet quality standards

  • Log production data and report defects

  • Maintain equipment and a clean, safe workspace

  • Perform other assigned tasks

Qualifications:

  • Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail

  • Able to read and understand basic instructions

  • Team player with good hand-eye coordination

  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety protocols

  • Able to lift up to 45 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment

Schedule:

  • First shift

Pay:

  • $18/hour

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)

  • 3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
