Job description

The production worker / helper position performs all tasks involved in the production of the company's products. This includes grinding, inspecting, and packaging. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Essential Functions

• Reads routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor
• Cleans and inspects parts
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Place finished goods on the designated pallet
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with the laser machine
• Other duties and responsibilities as required

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Must be able to work outside in harsh weather conditions.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 5 : 00 a.m. to 1 : 30 p.m. Overtime and Saturdays may be required at the request of your supervisor.
