Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Production Worker to support the assembly of manufactured housing on site in the Decatur, IN region. You will work as part of a team on a fast-moving line, performing manual labor with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and orders, measuring with a tape measure, and using hand, air, and electrical tools to assemble components while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Job Description

Summary

Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure
• Read blue prints and orders
• Communicate well with coworkers
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
