Base Pay Range

$18.00/hr - $28.75/hr

Job Summary

The Fabrication Production worker will work directly on a production line to ensure a product is de-boned, trimmed, or cut to customer specifications. They will serve as an example to other team members, using a continuous improvement mentality, and promote a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.

Essential Functions

• Cut, trim, fabricate, and package beef products in a production line setting.
• Use knives, hooks, powered equipment such as saws or wizard knives to process large pieces of product.
• Work environment is cold and damp with temperatures less than 45 degrees.
• This is a fast-paced and physically demanding position.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Stand entire shift on concrete and/or elevated platforms.
• Lift, pull, push, or carry up to 60 lbs. for knife positions and 100 lbs. for non-knife positions occasionally.
• Handle repetitive motions using hands, wrists, arms, torso, and legs.
• Use proper equipment to trim, debone, and skin meat products.
• Wear necessary personal protective equipment such as hardhats, steel-toed boots, gloves, etc.
• Work with sharp knives, power equipment, and saws.
• Work in cold/damp indoor conditions.
• Maintain a steady pace throughout shifts.

Physical Requirements

• Occasional climbing, stooping, crouching.
• Stand for 8 or more hours per day.
• Walk, push, pull, gasp, and perform repetitive motions frequently.
• Lift up to 100 lbs.
