Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Claysburg, PA is hiring a Production Worker for the Exteriors Department. You will perform manual labor on the production line, build manufactured housing, and work as part of a team to ensure quality output.

The role requires reading blueprints, tapes measures, and using common hand/air/electrical tools while maintaining a clean work area. Prior manufacturing/modular housing experience is preferred; FLSA status is non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training.
• Experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.
• Physical ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and more than 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Performs all manual labor in the Exteriors Department, including roofing, sheeting, soffit, fascia, siding, windows, and doors.
• Keeps the work area neat and clean.
• Reads and uses a tape measure and blueprints/orders.
• Communicates well with coworkers and uses hand, air, and electrical tools.

Summary: Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned. Specifically, roofing, sheeting, soffit, facia, siding, windows, and doors within the Exteriors Department.
• Keeps the area neat and clean.
• Reads and uses a tape measure
• Reads blueprints and orders
• Communicate well with coworkers
• Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

Qualifications
