Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. seeks a Production Worker - Welder/Fabricator for our Laurinburg, NC manufacturing facility. The role involves joining a manufacturing team to build manufactured housing on a fast-moving line.

Hourly pay; starting rate depends on documented experience; full-time position. Ideal candidates have Mig/Arc welding experience; some fabrication/design skills are a plus. We offer a competitive benefits package including 401k with company match, paid vacation and holidays,

Summary: Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.

• Keeps area neat and clean.

• Reads and uses a tape measure

• Reads blueprints and orders

• Communicate well with coworkers

• Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

• May be required to travel if needed to work on frames that are hauling our homes.
