Job summary

Gupta Permold Corp. is seeking an entry-level Band Saw Operator for our Pittsburgh, PA manufacturing team. This full-time position involves operating bandsaw equipment to cut materials according to specifications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and high-quality output.

You will measure and mark materials, monitor machine operation, perform routine maintenance and safety checks, and maintain a clean work area. The role offers a Sunday-free schedule, union benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with no weekends.
• Previous band saw experience required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Now Hiring: Band Saw Operators / Entry-Level Manufacturing Workers

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Band Saw Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate industrial bandsaw equipment to cut materials according to specifications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output. This is a full-time position offering competitive starting pay and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate bandsaw machinery to cut metal and other materials
• Measure and mark materials to ensure precise cuts
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met

Preferred Skills:

• Experience operating industrial bandsaws or similar cutting equipment
• Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers)
• Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability for equipment issues
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance and blade changes
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
