Job Overview

Howmet Engines is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks, and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high-performance parts that enable the next generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation. We are seeking Advanced Manufacturing Workcell team members to join our Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. The weekend night shift operates on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 PM to 6 AM, with training on the first shift from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM.

Starting hourly rate is $24.79, increasing to $27.35 after 12 months. Shift premiums are applicable for off-shift work. Our benefits include paid vacation, holidays, 401(k) with company match, comprehensive health plans, life insurance, EAP, tuition assistance, and free gym membership.

Responsibilities

• Operate Water Jets, 4/5 Axis CNCs, Rise and Fall Grinders, and Super Polish equipment.
• Load/setup tooling and load castings into nests, verifying fitment.
• Set up and operate vibratory equipment.
• Inspect surface finish using a profilometer as per instructions.
• Sieve media and perform 100% inspection as required.
• Adjust feed rates, speeds, and offsets to react to non-conforming castings.

Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities

• Implement and comply with EHS policies and regulations.
• Wear required PPE and report all safety concerns and incidents.
• Attend all EHS training sessions.
