Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Production Worker for the Troy, IL location on the 2nd shift. Core hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with possible overtime as needed. The hourly rate is $20.45 plus a $0.50 shift differential.

The Production Worker will perform packaging and assembly tasks, set up materials, stack and secure parts, and maintain a clean work area. Barcode labeling and safe material handling are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include immigration sponsorship not offered and no relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Troy, IL.

The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate is $20.45, plus an additional $0.50 cent per hour shift differential.

What You’ll Do

The Production Worker is expected to work in all departments of the manufacturing plant – Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout – doing various manual labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, however, the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments on a daily basis.

In This Function, You Will

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Position Success Criteria

• Must be able to frequently carry 10-34 pounds and occasionally carry 35-100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
