Job summary

Allied Mineral Products in Columbus, Ohio is seeking energetic individuals to join our Production Team. The role includes lifting, mixing, packing, and forklift operations as needed.

Shift: Mon-Thu 4:30am-3pm. Pay is $20.50 per hour with a $750 sign-on bonus. We offer health insurance, ESOP, 401K/Profit Sharing, and other benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stack and dump materials into the mixer.
• Discharge mixed material into bags.
• Pack items into pails or boxes.
• Heat seal or pack finished bags.
• Palletize and wrap pallets for shipping.
• Operate RF scanner for warehouse movements.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety rules.
• Pass forklift test and operate forklift safely.

PRODUCTION WORKER

Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. We are looking for energetic, motivated and results-driven individuals to join our Production Team.

Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30am - 3pm

Pay $20.50 per hour

PLUS $750 sign on bonus.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Stack and dump 55 pounds or lesser units of raw materials into the mixer.
• Discharge mixed material into bags of various weights.
• Pack and/or place taphole clay or plastic products into pails or boxes.
• Heat seal or valve pack finished material bags.
• Palletize bags of various weights and sizes.
• Shrink or stretch wrap completed pallets in preparation for shipping.
• Add water and/or liquids to wet mixer.
• Occasionally operate forklift safely and efficiently as required after successfully passing required forklift test.
• Clean mixer, equipment, and general work area.
• Weigh bonds.
• Perform labeling, and housekeeping.
• Operate and complete warehouse movements using RF Scanning equipment.
• Follow company rules and regulations.
• Strive to reduce accidents, personal injuries, and potential hazards. Work safely.
• Report all accidents immediately to supervision.
• Report to supervisor of conditions that are believed to be unsafe or potentially hazardous.
