Job summary

Wasatch Labs is seeking a Pack-Out Associate to report to the Pack-Out Supervisor. The role requires maintaining a clean pack-out area, ensuring accurate quantities, and rapidly packing pouches according to customer orders.

You will label and stack boxes for distribution, perform inventory counts, and visually inspect products for quality. The position requires dexterity, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Count with decimals and fractions using a calculator.
• Must work at a quick pace while keeping a clean, safe area.
• Good hand/eye coordination and dexterity for small parts.
• Self-directed team player who can teach others.
• Attention to detail in packing and labeling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the pack-out area neat and clean.
• Ensure accurate quantities and perform final quality checks.
• Package pouches quickly according to orders.
• Label and stack boxes; conduct inventory counts.
• Visually inspect products for quality.
• Follow GMPs, Food Safety and SOPs; attend monthly training.
• Regularly stand and move around in the work area; lift up to 50 lbs.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Pack-Out Associate reports to the Pack-Out Supervisor.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain the workplace and pack-out area in a neat, clean and orderly condition
• Ensure accurate quantities are packed and conduct final quality control checks
• Carefully and quickly packaging pouches according to customer orders
• Labeling & stacking boxes for distribution, performing accurate inventory counts & more
• Conduct visual inspection of product to ensure good quality,
• Must have excellent dexterity to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment, and sort product for defects as require
• Follow company GMPs, Food Safety, and other applicable WPDNs SOPs.
• Attend monthly plant training.

SKILS & EXPERIENCE:

• Count counting skills, using decimals and fractions with calculator.
• Must be able to work at a quick pace while maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Must have good hand/eye coordination
• Must have excellent dexterity to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment and sort product for defects as require
• Must be a self-directed \"go-getter\" who can teach others while also participating in the work load.
