Job summary

Richardson Milling, a division of Richardson International, is seeking a Production Worker at our South Sioux City, NE facility. The role involves operating processing equipment per the daily schedule to meet production orders and supporting packaging, cleaning, and setup tasks.

Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs, read and communicate effectively, and work flexible hours with overtime as needed; forklift experience is an asset and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Capable of lifting and stacking up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Basic computer and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift experience is an asset; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Package and store granola-based products to meet production orders.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment.
• Set up production equipment and operate it per schedule.
• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Set up and replenish ingredients as needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the production area and stock supplies.
• Pull samples for micro testing.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and HAACP procedures.
• Operate warehouse management hand scanners.

Reporting to the Coated Grains Manager, this position will operate processing equipment as per the daily production schedule to meet production orders.

Responsibilities

• Packaging and storage of granola based products to meet production orders
• Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment
• Setting up production equipment
• Operating forklift in a safe and efficient manner
• Setting up and replenishing various ingredients
• General housekeeping of production area and stocking supplies
• Pulling samples for micro testing
• Observing Good Management Practices and required HAACP procedures
• Operating warehouse management hand scanners

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed, may include week-end and holiday shifts
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively
• Able to lift and stack 50 lbs repetitively
• Able to bend, squat, walk and/or stand during entire shift
• Candidate should possess basic computer and problem solving skills
• Forklift experience is an asset, but not required, training will be provided
