Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to use a tape measure effectively.

Responsibilities

• Move glass from tables, furnaces, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates throughout the production day.
• Transport glass and materials between different positions and locations within the warehouse.
• Ensure correct labeling on all products to maintain traceability and quality assurance.
• Conduct quality inspections on glass items and materials, identifying any defects or inconsistencies.
• Operate material handling equipment safely, or manually maneuver equipment as required.
• Comply with all safety protocols and quality procedures at all times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred (glass industry experience is a plus but not required)
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate information from paperwork and labels accurately
• Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to use a tape measure effectively
• Capable of working in all areas of production as assigned
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and up to 150 lbs as part of a two-person team lift
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Strong teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently when required
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
