TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Production Operator for a full-time role in a glass manufacturing facility. You will handle, inspect, label, and transport glass materials across production stages while adhering to safety protocols.
Join a dynamic team that values reliability and detail, with training provided and opportunities for bonuses based on performance. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods in a non-climate-controlled environment.
The Production Operator plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing facility, ensuring the efficient handling, inspection, labeling, and transportation of glass materials throughout the entire production process. As a key member of the production team, the Production Operator is responsible for upholding the highest standards of quality and safety, working collaboratively to meet demanding production goals in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the physical stamina required to thrive in a manufacturing setting.
In this full-time role, the Production Operator will work closely with other team members and supervisors to safely move glass products from various workstations, including tables, furnaces, rolling racks, delivery trucks, and storage crates. This requires the ability to lift heavy materials, operate equipment, and maintain accuracy in labeling and documentation, all while adhering to strict safety protocols. The Production Operator must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment and be prepared to stand for extended periods, ensuring that all glass products meet quality standards before they leave the facility.
Applicants for the Production Operator position should have prior experience in a production or warehouse environment. Experience in the glass industry is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive on-the-job training is provided. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in reading, understanding, and communicating information from paperwork and labels, as well as basic mathematical measurements and the effective use of tools such as tape measures. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted, perform two-person lifts with items up to 150 pounds, and work both independently and as part of a team.
The Production Operator position offers a competitive compensation package, with weekly pay and benefits that begin on the first day of employment. Employees also have the opportunity to earn monthly performance bonuses, quarterly safety bonuses, and participate in a 401(k) match program. The company is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, providing equal opportunities for all employees and applicants.
Joining the team as a Production Operator provides the chance to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where safety, teamwork, and personal growth are prioritized. Employees are encouraged to bring their dedication and reliability to the role, contributing to the success of the production team while advancing their own careers.
