Job summary

Silgan Containers in Wisconsin is hiring for a manufacturing role at our state-of-the-art facility. You will operate waxers, stackers, load turners, and related equipment on a 6AM–6PM shift (Thu–Sat, with every other Wed).

The position offers a starting pay of $27.41–$27.51 per hour, overtime, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) match. Training is provided in a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Can Do, Will Do attitude expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate the waxers, stackers, load turners, and other associated equipment.
• Remove tinplate from oven conveyor.
• Prepare materials required for handling, strapping, wrapping and shipment of coated plate.
• Visually inspect production for standard quality.
• Notify supervisor of plates with questionable quality.
• Record and report production, spoilage and related items as required.
• Visual inspection, data entry, wax coverage check, repair mis-stacked bundles, and sort plates.

What you’ll do:

• Notify other operating personnel and/or supervisor of plate with questionable quality

• Visual inspection, DMS data entry, wax coverage check, repair misstacked bundles, and sort plates
