AEM (Advanced Environmental Monitoring) is seeking an on-site team member in Hayward, CA, to perform production operations, operate equipment, and ensure quality control. The role requires lifting up to 20 lbs, reading instructions, and willingness to rotate tasks in a manufacturing setting.

Starting wage is $23.43 per hour, with a 90-day probation followed by a pay increase to $24.18 per hour. Shift is four 10-hour days (Mon-Thu, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.).

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Surface Mount Soldering skills preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or electronic/manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Surface Mount Soldering skills, preferred
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in a warehouse, Electronic/Manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach frequently
• Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing or sitting for long periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. regularly

Additional Information

• This is an on-site opportunity that must be done from our location in Hayward, CA
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position is part of the Teamsters Local 853 union and requires membership.

• Starting pay is $23.43 (After 90-day probation, pay increases to $24.18)
• Shift: 4 10-hour days (Mon-Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)
• Must become a member of the Teamsters Local 853 union
• Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k benefits offered after 3 calendar months
• Must pass background and drug screening
