Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. in Greensboro, NC seeks a warehouse/production associate responsible for setting up and maintaining line equipment, monitoring processes, and assisting with packaging to ensure GMP and safety standards are met.

You will work with the Production Planner to select raw materials, perform quality checks, and help with line supply and housekeeping. Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 7am until finish.

Position Summary:

Set-up and maintain line equipment, monitor the process, direct, facilitate and assist production line personnel with the preparation and packaging products ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and quality standards are met and maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:

• Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork verify ingredients / supplies / packaging and prepare for operations.
• Work closely with the Production Planner to select the appropriate raw materials for daily production requirements.
• Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Set-up / assemble line equipment in accordance with the work order, perform metal detector checks and start up the line.
• Monitor the process, complete quality checks, change label rolls, check packaging and finished cases as required.
• Troubleshoot problems make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment change, harp assembles and blades, as needed.
• Facilitate production, maintain the scale area, assist with line supply and assist line personnel (un-box /reduction / palletize).
• At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform general housekeeping duties and complete all required paperwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Warehouse Selection Experience:

• 6 Months - 1 Year
